Perhaps you could improve the layout of your vocabulary lists with a two-column approach, with English words right-justified. When there are lots of consecutive items (like here) you could increase the line spacing.

I think this list of verbs sometimes lacks from suffixes (as far as I know kiabál vkiért ≠ kiabál vkivel) and samples of usage, like you did in other lists.

The thematic approach in other posts and greatly helps learning. I’m discovering so many posts!

You might take a look at Szó, my own tool for learning vocabulary. The vocabulary list is from French to Hungarian, but vocabulary files are plain text, so you can download the application and create your own list in any language. The application also works offline once you downloaded all the files. You can use it as an interactive tool (showing questions and answers), or like some category-based list holder (with nice stylesheet for printing).

Click on the question mark for details. Feel free to steal ideas. I’m writing Szó for my own usage, and I do not plan to make any money or fame with it. But I welcome suggestions and fixes.

  2. And which case(s) do these verbs require? 🙂 It would be very helpful to have some more information about these verbs, for example:
néz -ra/-re: to look at something, -t/-at/-et/-ot/-öt: to watch something

Thank you for this fantastic resource! I have a question about two abbreviations around the site. Next to some verbs are written sy or sg. What do these indicate? Thank you!

I have a number of Hungarian grammars, and none of them gets to the root of the use of preverbs plus verbs, expressing perfective aspect (or not) in the context of different tenses.
