Rossz idő van. – The weather is bad. It’s a rotten / foul weather.
Forróság van. – It’s a scorcher.
Fagy van. – It’s frosty.
Szakad az eső. – It’s pouring with rain.
Úgy esik, mintha dézsából öntenék. – It’s raining cats and dogs.
Süt a nap. – The sun is shining.
Vihar közeleg. – There’s a storm coming.
Borús az ég. – It’s cloudy.
Gondolod, esni fog? – Do you think it will rain?

NOTE! You can just say idő instead of időjárás. In this case idő means weather. It also this meaning: time, tense.

Jó idő van ma. – It is a fine weather today.
Az idő megmondja. – Time will tell.
Az ige múlt időben van. – The verb is in past tense.
